Have any of you ever been to a leadership type conference/camp? Or some sleepaway camp?

For the past 10 days I have been in Boston for a leadership conference and we were staying at Bently College. I became VERY close to 2 people while I was there A girl who was also my roomate and the guy that kinda just followed us around all the time and was really really sweet. well they both live in TX and I live in CT at the moment. I miss them alot, no joke I would have been dating the guy if we were there for even a day later and the girl and I were like sisters everyone always confused us and if they were talking about us, it wasnt just one of us it was always Kristy and rebecca or rebecca and Kristy. Well I was just wondering if this has ever happened to you, and what do you do to make it not so difficult? Everything reminds me of them and rebecca and I both bought almost all the same things, which also doesnt help. We even have the same perfume! Please Help I miss them sooo much!!! and I dont know what to dooooo

Sorry to "barge in" on the teen board since I am not a teen, but anyway I think I know what you are going through. DD(17) was at an NYLF on Medicine in Atlanta last month and made some really good friends that she has been missing. One of them lives near WDW so I decided to take her down there in 2 weeks for a mother/daughter trip and so she can see her friend. They have been talking on the phone daily since she got home and he has plans for seeing her when we get there. She really needs this trip because her and her boyfriend of 2 1/2 years just broke up today. I don't know how to make it easier for you, she keeps in touch with a lot of the kids she met on myspace and with phone calls. Good luck!
