Have you ever used a passport online company to get your passport FAST?

Are any of these companies legit? OR... Should we just go to DC to the passport office and get it there? We live three and a half hours from there and will need to get a hotel the night before since our appointment is at 8:30am. Thoughts?

I know, it seems last minute and unplanned. I ordered our birth certificates in March. I got mine back quickly, but JUST got my husbands back on Friday

Yes, there are legitimate companies who will expedite your passport. This site compares a few:

You can go to the Local Post Office submit your pictures, ID and fill out forms and pay to expedite.

How fast do you really need it?


I got our passports in 11 days a few months ago from the time I mailed off the envelope to the time we had them in had.

For an extra couple of dollars you can expedite them directly from the passport agency and they will process faster and express ship (figure about 5-7 days)

Or you can drive to DC and get them same day.
