Have you ever tried one of those smoked turkey (emu!) legs in Disney?

The reason they taste salty is because they inject them with a salt solution prior to cooking. They did a Disney Unwrapped on the Food Network in 2004 and they mentioned it.

They are a load of calories and fat in those as well so I stay away for that reason alone. An interesting article on the Disney Turkey Legs can be found here.

And to the person who asked, NO, they are not emu, that is a reference to some old DISboards CB joke. ;)
 
I like them a lot...

... the very first time I went to DLR (which was my first Disney park ever) the first thing I ate was a turkey leg somewhere around Critter Country or Adventureland.
 
Nope, I have never tasted one and plan on keeping it that way.

Make a fist and that is how big a stomach is. Four oz. of healthy protein in my stomach at one time is enough for me.
