Have you ever tried one of those smoked turkey (emu!) legs in Disney?

They always look like they would feed an army, they are massive!

Not tried one yet, but would if I was hungry and passing by.

My dh loves them, me not so much.

I love them.
I love the one i had at universal during horrer nights better though.

We like them but they are big enough to share. (tastes like ham)

DH loves them. He is perfecting his smoking technique to make them at home.
Taste like ham to me. I would rather have something else myself.

I've been meaning to try one, but I may not. I got one at the supermarkey several months back and it didn't thrill me.

DD and I always share one. DH isn't a real fan of turkey and he always turned his nose at them. He finally tried one and now he is a fan. DD and I had to get another one to share! I agree they taste more like ham than turkey.

One of my favorite memories of WDW is eating one of them while sitting on the curb watching the parade... they were delicious and it was a lot of fun trying to figure out how to eat them without looking like a caveman!

Disgusting! Too much salt & grease. I love turkey but I won't eat those. Maybe it us the ham-ness because I don't like ham either.

I tasted one - but didn't like it at all..

I only ever had 1 this past June at Disney...it was good, a little on the dry side, but huge. I couldn't eat the whole thing. I would get it again.

Not appealing to me. I don't like my hands to get messy when I eat.:confused3

They are emu legs? Oh dear, I never knew that?

I'm a vegetarian so I've never had one, but I had no idea they were emu...

while waiting for the ferry across the lagoon at epcot this past june, we had the "pleasure" of watching a mom and 2 kids (tweens-boy and girl) pick one of those things down to the bone and cartilage. i kid you not, they left NOTHING. it was disgusting...spikes of cartilage sticking up everywhere and they were scarfing it like they hadn't eaten all week. manners definitely go out the window with those things. it was literally nauseating to watch. unfortunately, they were standing right in front of me. killed any notion i ever had of trying one.

I love them! It took me a bit to try one but now I am hooked. We usually share them unless I am pregnant. If I am pregnant I am not sharing any food with anyone.

I've had them. One of them is a nice snack, but I would need more than that for a meal.

I had to try one the first time we visited WDW; it was OK but I probably won't get another one. It was good however so you never know. I might change my mind! Of course, this is a huge IF because I doubt we'll ever get back to WDW.
