Have you ever taken part in a DIS exchange?

Just wondering. I've done two so far and really enjoy them. It's fun getting a surprise, and I love putting together packages for others.

So far I have done the Disney Only Exchange and the Pet Exchange (that's going on now).

Have you done any? Which one was your favorite?

Hmmm, I suppose I should say I liked the Disney only exchange best, lol. Just kidding with ya there Esmeralda (Es got ME in the Disney exchange!).

The other one I participated in was the ornament exchange. I thought both were a lot of fun. I was kind of hesitant at first because I am not the most creative but I figured those two were at least not too tough to find stuff to send.

I would definitely participate again but would prefer them not to overlap as it was a bit confusing as to whom I was sending which package. I think I like the Disney-themed best.

I have done a number, yes, and always fun. Several YCs, several ornaments, your home town, a few others. I am loking forward to the ornament one this year, always fun.

I love the Yankee candle, ornament and cooking related ones the best....there have been very few that I have not participated in and I really have fun.

I guess I haven't participated on DIS exchange...not yet. So... "What the heck are you talking about???" Sorry... I have never opened that thread about Exchange. Sounds like fun!

I've done a few in the last 6 months & have really enjoyed them...especially the ornament, the local exchange, the t-shirt one, the Disney only one...I guess I liked all of them!

I'm sorry you had a bad expereince. Was it come from far away? Or did the person just not send it?



When I did the Disney exchange, I got my package within a week of the mail date.

I love them. I had participated in different color exchanges, garden forum exchanges, tupperware exchange, ... I have also organized a few of them along with the jam/jelly exchange that is currently being held.

I've done a couple. It was okay except that both people I got were out of the country. What are the odds of that happening 2 out of 2 times? So that basically turned me off to it.

No, I haven't done one yet, but the Disney only and ornament ones sounded good. Maybe one will come up soon.

i liked them.. i did teddy bear and blue... but for blue i thought it would be fun to send them from WDW but it was $10 minimum to send a small package so i had to wait untill i got home and i felt bad cuz i shipped a week late.. but i sent my people a post card and bought them a keychain from WDW with blue beads.. since i was so late...
