Fantasy World Suites or Seralago? We are considering these for an AAU tournament at the end of June. We would like to be somewhere close to WDW. We would certainly like a good deal, however, don't want to end up in a dive.

Thanks to anyone for your help.

Anyone?????:confused3

Are you sure you can do this? Our understanding from when we did the tournament many years ago and with our son doing it with his team this year that you had to stay at one of the Disney properties to get the package deal.

I found an old thread on the review board for Seralago:

It seems to be hit or miss.

If Fantasy World Suites is the same as Fantasy World Club Villas on Kings Heath Road, then I stayed there a 5-6 years ago. Here is a thread about this property:

If it is the same property, I would stay there if the price was right ($60-$75/night) because it is definitely better than a hotel room, but I much prefer a more roomy villa or 3-4 bedroom townhome. I thought the two bedroom villas at Fantasy World were just too small.

Are you looking for a property for one family or a group of families? If we have some details, we might be able to find you something really nice for a fair price.

A lot of people on these boards have stayed at and really enjoy Cypress Point Grand Villas. They used to be able to book this place through HotelKingdom.com

Tripadvisor.com is a great place to look for hotel reviews. I would check out the reviews over there.

We stayed at Seralago last year for one night before moving onsite. We got it for less than $40 a night. For the price, I would stay there again. The room was okay - no bugs (a plus! lol)

Thanks Kathy. I will definitely check into this.

:worship:Thanks for you help everyone. It was a huge help. Very difficult to do this when you are trying to plan for about 25 families!

Thanks Kathy. I will definitely check into this.

Good luck. I know this how it always was in the past. Now, maybe they changed it and will allow you to stay elsewhere but then I don't think you will be entitled to special priced tickets, etc.

Keep us posted. pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:
