Have you ever sent a gift to someone at WDW?

My SIL is going on her first trip to the world in August. I was thinking it might be kinda neat for us to send her sometype of little gift to help her have a magical vacation. Anyone ever send a gift? Is there a place at WDW I could use? Any insight would be great.

TIA

We have not sent a gift to anyone at Disney, but we did received quite a few gift baskets on one of our vacations. My husband was asked to postpone his vacation a few years ago due to employment and they felt so bad that they sent as a gift basket every day of our trip. These were all delivered to our room from the resort store. It was a nice gesture and even if I for one was quite upset, it was nice to see that they felt bad about the circumstance and tried to rectify the situation.

Anyways, to answer your question, I believe you can call the resort store and ask them to prepare a basket. :)

Thanks everyone - I'll check it out.

dvcdisney - that is some serious way to try to make up for the missed vacation! Not too many employers would do that, I hope you had a great trip!

Yes, and I knew it was unavoidable, but it was still upsetting. By the way, I forgot to mention that they informed us the day before we were going. So everything had to be cancelled. But they did pay for the new trip which was about a week later.:)

Holy crap! I know how much I look forward to my Disney vacations, to have the rug pulled out from you the day before. I'd say I would have cried for the entire week.

I also look forward to my Disney vacation and I usually start packing a couple of weeks ahead of time and this vacation had been planned for a long time. So, I was very upset. I think my husband would have preferred I cried. But I didn't speak to him for that whole week and even into the vacation.
