I was making a hot drink the other nite and went to put the boiling water in my mug.

Where has my mug gone?

Retracing my steps I had got the milk out earlier, so looked in the fridge.

Yep...found it...my mug was sitting on the bottom shelf!!! :rotfl:

So c'mon, fess up...

Well there was the time I took the last cinnamon bun and left the plate in the fridge
Or that time I put the gnocchi that is supposed to stay frozen in the fridge and didn't realize it until 3 days later, at which time it had gone bad.

I once put a cat toy in the freezer. It wasn't one of my most sober moments

I'm famous for leaving cordless phones in odd places. Like one time when I was chatting on the phone while checking my mail - finished the phone call so I left the phone in the mailbox. I've also left it on the back of the stroller, in the refrigerator, in the garage, in the laundry cabinet, in the pantry. One day I changed one of my daycare baby's diapers right before he went home and the cordless phone went home with him in his diaper bag. (I'm not kidding)

My family now has 5 cordless phones so that we can occasionally find one!

:rolleyes1 Do you think I have too much on my mind? Or I talk on the phone too much? (maybe both) :confused3

My father does this ALL the time. One of the more funny ones was when he left the butter in the cabinet with the bowls and plates.

yes usually something like the icecream in the fridge instead of the freezer, when I'm putting away groceries. That's no good!

tricia.

Phew, I thought that you were going to say that you put the cat in the freezer.

When I was in high school, I used to always put the cereal away in the fridge before school.

One year DH and I bought some books for the kids for Christmas, then hid them so they couldn't find what Santa bought.

About Easter time we found the bag of books!! We had totally forgotten where we hid them.

I've done this and also put the milk in the pantry at the same time!!

Remote....freezer

Ice tray....oven

iced tea....microwave

plate of food...top of tv

telephone....closet

I really don't pay much attention to what I am doing, and I will set stuff down and get sidetracted then find stuff like this. lol

cordless in laundry basket

remote in laundry basket
dog's dish in workshop...
also, the butter in the dish cabinet & the milk there, too!
I have left my coffee cups in more places than I'll ever forget! :teeth:

DH--after a visit to the oral surgeon & plenty of Bluecross sponsored bliss :cloud9: -- lost his glasses. Found them on the toilet lid camouflaged in the 'furry' comode cover!

I go to drain noodles and dump the pot into the sink. No strainer.

I've drained soup....

remote on the phone cradle, cans in the fridge, produce in the pantry.

I was once emptying the dishwasher I put the glass full of water is was drinking back into the cabinent with the clean cups. The bad part was when DH found it a day or two later :crazy2:

I am forever taking the remote control to another room and then forgetting where it went. Hubby called me last night and asked me where it was since he had torn the livingroom apart looking for it. I had no clue. I told him to check the bathroom.

Something my DH did on purpose.
I came home one day and found Toilet paper on the Paper Towel holder. He said we were out of paper towels so he had to find something.

Often!!!! I leave things in the fridge constantly.

My most recent oddity was Wednesday night. On Wednesday nights we work late seeing patients. After the last patient we employees decided to go to a nearby restaurant for appatizers and a drink (lots of stress that night). The silverware was rolled in a napkin, so I unrolled the napkin put the napkin on the table and put my silverware in my lap. Had it like that without noticing until the food came  . I'm such a dork.
