Two of my three Disney cruises were my most memorable internet (DIS) meets. Most of the people were exactly as I expected them to be and, as in real life, connections with some were more "meaningful" than with others. However, I treasure all the people I met from The DIS on my cruises. They are ALL very special people.

I met a friend from online waaaaay back in '92. He and his wife were just as cool in person as they were online. Unfortunately, we've lost touch, even though we were writing back and forth off line for several years after meeting. I probably could drop a line right now and find that Benjamin is exactly where he was . Whatever happened to good old Prodigy, anyway?

As far as DISers, I had two meet in my store, and then a coworker and I had lots of fun having a miniDIS meet in the store, LOL! Hiya, Bethie . She's introduced me to the joys of the YAYA's! Beth is just as sweet in person as she is online, and her hubby is a doll, too!

I had an employee transfer into my store, and her first day there, she asked "Are you Poohnatic?"...she put two and two together from my posts. It would've been really funny if I'd said NO! So it was like meeting an old friend when it was her first day!

I've only met a couple, but they were terrific. Shared an IllumiNations Cruise with one but haven't seen her around the boards since. The other...Hi Karen!!!

I've met several DISers. I love meeting DISers. They have mostly been exactly the same as their internet personnas.

Everyone I've met has been very nice.

I've met a number of internet friends in person and they have all been wonderful. My husband and I try to take a cruise each year with one of my internet friends and her husband.

I'm ALWAYS amazed at the quality of DISers! They are always WAY more than I expected! When you meet a DISer you already have a history so you already KNOW each other!

The one thing that amazes me is how GOOD LOOKING most of them are! In my pre-internet days I thought only unattractive people were on the web! Back in 1999 at my first DIS meet I was proven WAY wrong!!
