For the first time, I'm really tempted. I ordered a Cinderella "Shimmer Princess" doll & horse set for Christmas. It was advertised as "new".
I paid $10.37 for shipping.
The seller ran a sheet of brown wrapping paper over it (sort of like supermarket brown bag material) and shipped it like exactly like that. No attempt was made to even put a thin sheet of bubble wrap underneath the paper wrapping.
Now, most of you know that those dolls are packaged in those plastic-type boxes. Very flimsy, not very durable. Certainly not meant to be shipped without being inside a box.
Well, you should see the condition of this thing when it arrived. I paid $10.37 for the seller to tape some brown paper around the actual doll's packaging and ship it. Of course, the weight of all the other packages crushed & cracked the plastic box.
I emailed the seller and told her how disappointed (and ripped off) I felt. I really feel frustrated because any seller with more than an ounce of common sense would know that such flimsy packaging wouldn't do well in transit during the height of the Christmas shopping season.
I have never left a negative feedback, but I really want to. I'm pretty angry right now. It's a week before Christmas and I have to hand my 4-year old niece this wreck of a box. The doll and horse seem OK, but that is simply pure luck. Based on the condition of the box, it could have been worse.

Silly me! Come to think of it none of the packages would have passed mustard even for free.
