Have you ever had a discontinued perfume replicated...

through an online website where you send a small sample?

If so, what company did you use and was it a close match?

My favorite perfume (victorias secret-secret 55) was discontinued years ago and I'm running low on backup and I miss wearing it every day. I am willing to try one of these companies because I haven't found anything similar to the fragrance, and I can't put my finger on the notes of the scent but I thought I'd get some feedback first.

I haven't tried any of those companies, I hope it works for you! I checked ebay to see if they had any and they do but its really expensive! The cheapest I saw was 18.00 for a little vial of it, but they do have a lot if you are willing to pay 150 or so. I don't know if its that expensive to get something duplicated but it might be worth it to just get them off ebay if the price is close! Of course you may have already looked so if you have, nevermind

I still have that same perfume and I it!! I discovered it years ago when VS was selling it for $15 for a large bottle. Didn't realize that they were discontinuing it. Should have bought the whole display. Since then, I have bought 2 bottles on Ebay, but the price just kept creeping up. Now it is insane what a bottle is going for!

Wish I could help you, but just wanted to let you know there is someone else out there that absolutley loves that scent!!!

LOL I look on ebay just about every other day, but thanks for looking on ebay anyway! I am willing to part with $100 for perfume, but I some prices are nearing $200 on ebay, it's only $59.99 through one online company and they have a money back guarantee but I thought I'd get feedback first! If they make it correctly the first time, repeat orders are only $29.99.

I bought out the display! Now I wish I'd bought the whole display in my whole state, I could be getting rich right now on ebay. Ridiculous!

If I try the scent matchers and it is good, I will message you and let you know!!

scent matchers said if is an exsisting or discontinued perfume they don't always need a sample!

OMG! Victoria's Secret 55! I love that scent so much, I have one bottle that's abuot 1/4 full... I only use it on special occasions. It's seriously the best smelling stuff *ever*.

It just stinks to have to pay a lot to replicate it when the stuff itself was pretty cheap!

I've also found that a scent can be a duplicate without advertising itself as a copy (for example, one of the three versions of Victoria's Secret Pink is a pretty good dupe of Trish McEvoy #9). You might trying asking the fragrance board at Makeup Alley if there is a known duplicate.
