I think Walt Disney would fit that as my childhood... but to answer the question....9th grade I was enrolled in art class and student teacher introduced us to soup cans so began my journey in abstract art and encouraged by a classmate who became a friend....so I created a lot of abstract art... because of those soup cans. I still do abstract dimensional art and have sold some of the art... I met the man October 1984 at Whitenty museum of American art while viewing the last day of abstract Georgia okeef...he asked me a question to make fun of me....

February of 1996 I participated in evacuating my neighborhood as the 100 year rain came and followed the man made canals to power 1880s Salem Oregon... what the canals couldn't hold flowed thru back yards and thru several houses in the mid nigh hours ... our house roof made the front page of paper as we were on the edge but out of harms way

No... have seen sea lions, otters..orcas.. dolphins from the window of the Amtrak Coast starlight... but never a squid ...a few whales as long the Oregon Coast
