Have you called Disney lately? Remember when it was cheery Disney music? I am on hold right now and it is nothing but a dry boring voice spewing advertisements with irritating band music sounds in between speeches like one long awful infomercial. No fans on staff but a firm reminder Mickey is actually a corporate logo, great way to bust up the magic.

The last few times I called Disney, it was staticky Disney music while I was on hold. I was shocked that the company couldn't afford to ensure that their hold music wasn't static. I'm sorry to hear that their "fix" was to remove the Disney music entirely and replace it with ads.

I think the difference is that instead of big call centers it’s now a lot of people who work from home on a computer VoIP system they connect to. The connections may not always be as consistent just due to internet service.
