Have you booked Alamo when you purchased plane tickets from Allegiant Air??

If you have, how did it go. Was it easy to check in? From what I understand, you need to turn your paperwork into the Allegiant desk once you arrive at Sanford and then you get your Alamo information to take to the Alamo desk. Is this correct? Is it more hassle than it is worth? Is it more cost effective to do it this way or is it cheaper to watch for a code and book separately?

Sorry for so many questions, but you all have so much great information and help!!

Thanks, Michelle

I will be interested in any responses to this question as well. We have been looking on the Allegiant website for a flight and car for our trip in December. After you get your quote for a flight and car, there is something that says that you are still responsible for any taxes and fees added by Alamo, and those fees could be up to $20 per day. Does anyone just accept that statement and blindly agree to pay whatever Alamo adds on? I would assume they would just be adding the 'normal' fees that get added when you rent a car, but I don't think we would rent a car without a printed confirmation of exactly what we would be expected to pay. Hope somebody posts with their personal experience.
