Have you been to WDW since November?

Have a question for those that have been to Epcot since around Thanksgiving this year.

Does it seem 'less' holiday decorated than in previous years?
I may just have a bad memory, but it seems to me that there is less garland and holiday plantings than in the past.

For instance, in UK, there are quite a few lamp posts. Not a one had a decoration on it. I found much the same through the park.

Now, I realize they have the lighted bridge and the tree, but those are big obvious decorations.

I mean those smaller, sweet touches. I was kind of bummed. However I did get a happy feeling when I saw a crowd control cast member with an Eeyore santa hat...he was so cute! (both Eeyore and the CM!)
I will tell you , yes I cried my eyes with tears of joy at the Candlelight Processional (best arrangement of the songs I have seen yet!) and Illuminations...just beautiful!

On the pin collection front...I agree...Cuties everywhere--While it helped me get pins for my niece, it wouldn't have been a fun time if I was just trading for me!

I just wrote Disney management about the sad cutbacks during the Christmas season. Not just EPCOT, but property wide. No Country Bear Christmas, MVMCP more crowded, no comp photo, no buttons, fireworks nothing to write about, parade chopped to ribbons, etc. You aren't imagining it Lynnie.

I am upset about the Country Bears. When I was there for Thanksgiving I asked the CMs when it was going down to change over and they said it wasn't and to go to City Hall to complain. Guess it isn't a popular decision with the CMs.

We went to City Hall to voice our complaint and they gave us a card and said "e-mail us". That was pointless. Only got a canned response. So I tried an old fashioned Snail Mail letter. They really don't care about their guests anymore.

I kind of got the feeling too, about the BIG GUNS not caring about the Guests anymore, or making stupid decisions : No Country Bear Christmas, No more Hunchback Show (okay, that was awhile ago, but I am STILL not over it!), even that pastry/coffee shop in Future World near the fountain.....why isn't that open as guests leave the park at closing? SO many times, I would love a goodie and cup of coffee on the way out (despite what people may think, it gets COLD in Central FL!), or why isn't there a Cheese Soup stand in Canada year round---I know Nat gives that a big YES vote! (or at least in the winter months?) Do they not see the money that could be made? Since that is all they seem to care about anyway.

Oh and what about Spectable of Pins Event??? GEEZ

Even pin collecting....can't afford it! Remember when $20 would get 3 nice pins at the Pin Carts? Not anymore!

We went to Sea World when my parents where down....it was AWESOME. Deocrations everywhere, felt so festive (and not necessarily all Christmasy, but festive, holiday fun!).

If someone asked me what park I liked better overall, I would have to say Sea World even though it pains me since we have little Mickey heads in our blood!!!

Sigh......I hope Disney is listening!!!!!

Thanks for your comments....I am glad to know my memory isn't THAT bad.
