I booked the V.I.P Experience at ESPN Club, but I don't really know a lot about it. My husband and I will be at Disney in a couple weeks for our 5th anniversary. We'll be there on a Sunday, and we're huge Carolina Panther fans... so I thought it would be neat to watch the game at the ESPN Club. I am considering the V.I.P area because I thought it would be a cool additional anniversary present for my husband. I haven't really heard much about it though. I like the idea of the V.I.P area because it guarantees you a table in a restaurant that doesn't take reservations. The game we'll be watching is around 4:00, so if I don't book the V.I.P. area, we'll either have to get in line early in the day and watch the 1:00 games as well, or we'll be waiting/hoping for a table around game time... in both of those scenarios we'd be wasting time that could be spent elsewhere on property. Reserving the V.I.P. area is $60 per person, but that includes your food, and a guaranteed seat to watch your preferred game. Have any of you had an experience at ESPN Club? Or more specifically the V.I.P. Experience at the ESPN Club? Thank you!

We were there in June. We were there to watch the Triple Crown race and I think there was a Stanley Cup game that night. We didn't do the VIP experience because we were just going for a few drinks and an app and we knew we wouldn't spend the money. I don't think it's necessarily $60 per person - I think you have to commit to spending at least $60/person on food and drink. I think if you know you want to watch the game and you'd be spending the money on food/beer anyways, it's a good idea. The service when we were there was great - they were really attentive and I'm sure even more so in the VIP seating area. I have heard really great reviews about the pulled pork grilled cheese. ;)

Thank you! Yes, you're correct about the pricing. You have commit to spending that amount of money. When you were there, did you see the VIP area? Does it look like normal seating just in a different room?

VIP are tables for two surrounding the perimeter of the dining room. We did this late September. $60 each. You can pick any food and/or drinks and spend up to the $120 limit (for two). We had a good time, but it's one of those do it once things. We had money left over and my husband ordered two deserts "to go" so we spent the total $120! It was fun. Have to admit it. You'll get a VIP lanyard to wear.

p.s. If you have a reservation, they will call you ahead to find out what game you want to watch. If you have questions, this is the number to call.... 407 939 1177 Its the ESPN podium on the Boardwalk.

We've never been there for a specific game or at a VIP table but we usually go there on each trip since the Boardwalk is our DVC home resort. We've always had really good service, cold drinks and good food. It's a basic sports bar menu but they do it pretty well. Between us we've had steak (surprisingly delicious), burgers, roast beef sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, wings, and possibly nachos with no complaints. I think their buffalo style wings are delicious. The only thing I did not enjoy there was a pulled pork sandwich.

have fun!

We have watched pre-season games football games there every August and sometimes choose to sit at the bar to watch the games. Plenty of tvs and the bartenders have all been great. Fun to meet other team fans too. What they do is well done. As long as you're not expecting gourmet food - its fine sports bar/disneyfied menu. They even have tables/tvs outside as we have done that some evenings and enjoyed bringing our to go food and trinks to sit outside if the baby was asleep in the stroller. Enjoy.

When we were there, we did not since we had dinner plans and just wanted a seat and a drink during the race! I didn't look around enough to know where the VIP area was, I'm sorry. :( But there were TONS of TVs around! I honestly think if we went back at a time where my fiance would want to catch a game, we would do the VIP experience. I can only imagine how great the service would be in the VIP area. Seemed like a really cool atmosphere.

I LOVE ESPN Club! The food is really good. Although we don't always end up going since you can't make ADRs there. I'm not into waiting around either. Aside from that, they serve yummy food!

ok, awesome. thanks! Yes, when I made the reservation, they hadn't determined which game would be on the big screen at that time. I'll call back soon to find out.

Yea, I figured it may be a little expensive, but at least we'll get to watch the game and not have to wait on a table.

I've heard only great things. Thanks for your input!

Just returned from our trip over Thanksgiving. We dined at ESPN Club twice and had an enjoyable experience both times. We really enjoyed the Nachos that are now on the menu with the BBQ pork included. Really interesting twist. We also enjoyed the Cuban burger which has Dijon and bacon on it.

If you want to get there before the evening rush try to get there by 5. It seemed as though the crowds started coming in after that.
