Hello! Bonjour! Good Day! Thanks for stopping by and welcome to our December 2012 PTR! I've decided to start this to save my family from becoming so completely frustrated and annoyed with my incessant Disney talk and to channel the majority of my Disney planning into this lovely little PTR! I apologize in advance for all of my ramblings, second guessing of ADR's, venting about packing and pre-trip shopping dilemmas that you may be subject to in the next two months. Well, we might as well get started!

The Introductions:

Me: Hi Everyone! I'm Jenna, a 27 year old stay at home mommy and wife. I am a full on shopaholic and Disney fanatic and have been since birth. I was that girl who really, truly believed I was a Disney princess and/or a Broadway actress and was convinced that if I memorized every Disney movie and song ever created I would some day be the next Disney princess. Picture the child in an oversized fancy dress with a parasol recently purchased on a WDW vacation, standing in front of the TV and reciting line by line Mary Poppins. I have been to WDW 23 times and plan on going 100 times more!

DH: Lets's call him Hubs. He is a 27 year old amazing hubby and daddy. I was extremely lucky to marry a man who not only shares my obsession with Disney, he actually encourages it! He used to go with his family as a child and absolutely hated it (the horror! :sad1:), but we went right after college and he officially became a fanatic like myself. We have been married for 2 1/2 years, together for 5, friends for 10 and taken 6 trips to WDW together...one of which was our honeymoon:goodvibes. He is the hardest worker I have ever known and deserves this vacation more than anyone. For the past four years he has been working full time and going to law school at night. We are finally in our last year of law school and this will be our last trip before he starts selling his soul to a big law firm in NYC. He is the bomb-diggity.

DS: The Little Man. He will be 18 months old at the time of our trip. He has been "brain washed" as my family likes to say, his entire life and completely surrounded by all things Disney his entire life. He has been to WDW once when he was just under a year (we also did the cruise) and he absolutely loved it! He loves the characters, loves the rides and is OBSESSED with Pooh. He is absolutely crazy and a big love muffin. He screams "Disney" every time he sees the castle in the opening credits to any Disney movie and loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I can't wait to take him this time when he seems to really understand everything!

Also making an appearance halfway through our trip:

Mom: We'll call her Mama Bear (aka Nana). She is the reason for my love of all things Disney and is also responsible for 90% of all of our Disney trips. She really gets into the spirit of Disney and lets her hair down on all of our trips!

Dad: We'll call him Pop-pop. He claims he wants to go on other vacations, but is constantly responsible for our trips to Disney. He has been really excited about this trip for a few months now.

Brothers: Mark-Mark or MM (left) and Bri-Bri or BB (right). They both love Disney and all the thrill rides and food. MM might not be able to come because of work, but BB is extra excited about taking a trip to Harry Potter on this vacation!

Having an 18 month old will definitely cause my posts to be shorter. I guess I'll have to work posting into the nap schedule :rotfl2:!

Up next: Plan, Plan, Plan!

The plans!

So after much deliberation we decided to head back to the world this December. We wanted a low crowd season and initially I really wanted to go in October for food and wine and the Halloween party, but with my husband's school schedule it just worked out that he was done with this semester nice and early in December. So we picked a week, totally based on the crowd calendar because I am a freak!

Then it was time to pick the hotel. We stayed at the Contemporary in May for three nights and we did love it, but we really missed being able to walk to EPCOT and take a boat (where you don't have to fold up a stroller) to HS. So the only logical choice for hotel was the Beach Club! This is my favorite resort for a lot of reasons, but mostly because we stayed there on the trip we got engaged at!

On to the food...well this is always a tricky one. Food is very, very important to this family. We are 100% Italian and really love to eat. When I say "love to eat", I mean that it's literally like a religious experience. We pretty much base everything in our life around food, which I am sure is scary and unhealthy, but it's just a part of our culture and I need to stop fighting it :rotfl:! We booked this trip in early September which was under the 180 day window for ADR's so we have been jumping around, changing our ADR's numerous times. We are doing free dining, so we have the basic dining plan which is not something we normally do either. Needless to say the ADR's have been a source of anxiety for me this trip, but here are our plans thus far...
