Have they replaced the VCR's in the VWL

Just want to know if they replaced the VCRs with DVDs in the VWL. Can anyone confirm this?

I was told at OKW - they said if the VCR breaks they are replacing it with a DVD - but I haven't heard about a whole sale replacement at any of the resorts.

Oh I was told that the DVD was not recordability - the VCR (at OKW) is -

so does this mean that after DVC goes to DVD no more recording the DVC resorts channel, and the other silly stuff.....

We were just at the VWL Dec. 19 - Dec. 22. Only VCR in the rooms. There is a schedule somewhere of when the switch is
to happen, but I don't remember when. Does anyone have the link?

They have replaced the VCR's at BWV with Sony DVD/VCR combos. Very nice! I recorded Survivor because we were out that night, came back to the room later and watched it.

The Winter Vacation Magic had a note that all VCRs would be replaced with DVD players at OKW by the end of March 2004. Didn't see any other resorts mentioned
