Have they ever offered an AP rate or discount code for Presidents week?

Yes - it's been a few years ago though. I have stayed a couple of times over President's Day (with it falling in the middle of my trip) and I've been able to get a discount. Of course, they are discounting off of a higher rack rate, so it's not as good a deal as earlier in February. Also, you want to book as soon as something is announced, because I've seen it become a blackout pretty quickly as people start booking. So you don't have a lot of time to think about it - just book!

Thats a tough week to get any deals, but you never know what Disney will do.

Years ago we would take the GC down this week but we would arrive the Wednesday before Presidents Weekend. Wednesday was the last day for value and with an AP you could get an AP rate usually 40% off you room, and because you checked in on value season you got that rate for your stay. They have since changed their policy on rates and check-in days.
