Have the Saratoga Springs Treehouses renovations started?

Curious to know if the Treehouse renovations have started. I would like to take my extended family and absolutely love the recent renovations throughout SSR.

Whatever the THV refurbishment entails, I would not expect it to look anything like what was done in SSR proper.

I wouldn’t expect it to look the same theme wise, but I’d expect they do a good job with them. Point wise they are fantastic. However, looking at them in their current condition, a traditional 2-BR seems like a better use of points.

Funny, Saratoga management said it was coming soon in January. We had a treehouse and the decking in front of the door was a few weeks from snapping it was so bad (I am a carpenter). I asked why they would issue this room and not repair it and the response was it was setup for a soon renovation. It was a one night stay because we were starting our trip and needed a room for the first day. We got out points back but I hope they at least fixed the deck.

Sad, I own at Saratoga and two other resorts and in my experiences Saratoga is the worst for hotel management.

That’s at least exciting that they thought renovation was on the schedule. I remember hearing about it earlier, but then those talks just faded away.

As I watch the tours, I see the old carpet and everything just looks ancient like old SSR. The refurb gave new life to SSR, and honestly, they are some of the nicest rooms in DVC, IMO (just based on the room itself). I hope they can do something similar for the treehouses.
