Have the crowds during Early-Mid Feb increased for 2006?

My family and I returned from WDW 19 days ago and it seemed more crowded than past visits. Has anyone else encountered a growth in attendence during the Value season? :confused3

I thought it might be related to the 50th celebration, but I wanted to get your opinions.

Thanks

Tourism, economy, jobs, money..........whatever it may be, the parks have been noticeably more crowded than a couple years ago.

I noticed the last 3 years have gotten busier each year, and now even slow times have been busy on many weeks. Hmmmm, advertising works I guess.

Thanks for the response. Now I know that it isn't just me who feels that the crowds are getting larger.

we went in October of 2004 and it was VERY busy, busier than it had been during a value season that I had ever seen.

We were there Feb 5 - 12 (just as we were the past two years) and thought that there was less crowding - especially compared to last year. The longest we waited for a ride this year was 25 minutes and that was Soarin'...on a Saturday!! Last year we waited over an hour for BTMRR on a weekday. Definitely less people this year.

DH and I were there Feb 11-14. We were quite surprised at how crowded the parks were. But we are used to September. I guess that we expected that since it was Value Season that it would not be crowded. Apparently that is not necessarily the case anymore. Oh, well.

I guess you went to different parks on different days than us. We were there from Feb 9 -16. We used a lot of fast passes to get to all the rides so the lines were never really a problem. Soarin' had a wait of 70 minutes and the fast pass ran out at 5pm.
