Have Restaurants on the DDP Changed a Bunch for 2012?

I was just looking at a 2012 DDP brochure, and it looks like they have cut WAY back on the restaurants at which you can use FS credits since I was there in Dec09. But then I was playing around with online reservations and searched only for DDP restaurants, and many more came up than what was on the brochure.

Is the list on the brochure exhaustive? Thanks!

No.

You're seeing a preliminary list which will be finalized by the end of the year when third-party restaurants finish negotiating their annual deals with Disney.

This happens every year, and it's a near certainty than any 2011 restaurant will also participate in 2012.

In fact, when I saw the list and that little disclaimer, I wondered how many people would be posting about the list being shorter, or that their favorite restaurant is missing.

That same line is there every year, and these threads pop up every year when the plan information is first released . (Heck, I even thought the same thing the first time I saw it!)

It's perfectly understandable that people jump to the conclusions, especially considering the ticket, ddp, and resort rate increases that are happening alongside.

We'll just have to get some copy/paste thing going for the next 6 months until the list is finalized

I saw that post too, I just thought I was crazy! I guess that either they're crafting the larger post so it wasn't necessary, or someone thought better of it. /shrug.

So, just for fun, where exactly is this disclaimer? I've read the pdf 5 times specifically looking for something like this, and I'm not seeing it. All I see is that participating restaurants are subject to change (which to me means they can be pulled OFF the list). Is there maybe a different list?

Legally, it also means they can be added.

No restaurant has dropped the dining plan since Fulton's did in 2006.
