I'm just curious considering local fast food restaurants now charge more than DL for a meal. I buy for the homeless regularly, and the average price of a meal at Wendy's with a large drink is over $13. Other places much more.

Yeah, pretty much. After my 15% AP discount, a meal averages about $15-20 without a drink. Some places are more expensive than others. For example, Bengal BBQ will set you back about $22 per person for enough for a meal, while you can get soup or gumbo in a bread bowl for around $12.

We usually dine at Hungry Bear and I haven't noticed any recent price change there. Can anyone confirm if Hungry Bear's prices have gone up since last summer?

Take a look at the menus and compare. I don't think most people keep a running tally of restaurant pricing. Disney tends to sneakily raise prices across the board by $0.50 to $1.00 per item pretty regularly.
