I made a ressie for POR in Nov with a 40% code and now I would like to upgrade to Poly. Is this possible? Other than availability, is there any reason I can't do this now that the offer has expired?

you can change it....but word of warning, it is now not that easy...BECAUSE, there is nothing left!! I tryed to change my dec one to anytime...between Sept and Dec, and I am very flexiable, there was nothing nowhere! So I kept my Dec ressies. Good luck thou

ah, yes...! I think I am the first one that posted here that I had changed two ressies, I know the drill! I mentioned that you needed to talk to GS!

I asked to speak to guest services directly and was put through to them after explaining the situation. The first time I'd called the CM spoke to GS on my behalf and I was told there was no availablity (we're at CR garden wing looking to change to tower or poly). When I spoke to Niles at GS he said there was still no availability for my dates at either resort. He said to keep trying but I don't hold out much hope. I'm unsure of how any availabilty would open up?

Availability would open up when those currently holding 40% off rooms cancel or change their reservations..

How about this situtation -- I booked with the code by myself and through a travel agent -- I ended up cancelling my reservation and keeping the travel agent's reservation. I honestly do not know whether or not I had something attached to my name -- I did not give a pin number and was not asked for one when I booked on my own. I have no idea what the travel agent did to get me the rate.

So I am booked for 10 nights 9/24 - 10/4 MYW with dining, 2 rooms. I need to add a night at the end. I had the travel agent do it -- I am paying rack rate for the additional night ($1300 for 10 nights, $255 for the additonal night) Do you think I can use the code for this last night? I think it ia actually a differnt code since this would be room only.

Since it's not part of your package - you'll pay more for that. Any reason you just didn't make it part of your package?

It's considered a separate reservation. And the depending on when you had the travel agent do that... it may have been after the booking cut off for the discount used for the first portion of your trip. The booking cut off was March 15th.

I guessed wrong on the MNSSHP dates so I need to add a night in order to go to the party on 10/4. That is why I didn't include it originally. Regardless, I didn't think I could book an 11 night package -- did that change? In Dec 06 I had to book a 10 night MYW package and then a room only for the 11th night. And yes, this additional night was booked after March 15th.

Well my understanding is that you can only do 10 day park passes.. but you can book up to 14 nights. Ask your TA about removing the separate extra night and extending your 10 night stay to eleven on the same package. Explain that you read on the internet that you could now book up to 14 nights.

We'd had CR booked but were only able to get a garden wing room. Fine enough, just to be at CR. But lately dh has been saying how it's not worth staying at CR unless you're in the tower. So I've called a few times, spoken to guest relations and was told 'no availablity.' Fair enough. BUT I just called again today and a CM was able to change my ressie to the tower, bay lake view. She did put me on hold for a bit but she was the one going over what was available in each resort and what wasn't. I'd asked for guest relations but she said she could help me and somehow she was able to! My cost only went up by about $125 (which I expected) and she went over my package and ressie# again with me as well as ADRs.
