Have my room & DxDP deposit paid...how to make a CRT ADR without credit card hold?

I have a room deposit with the DxDP confirmation number. Is there a way to make an ADR for CRT with the intention of using credits instead of the credit card hold? I thought there was once but can't find it.

Normally you have to completely pay for it upfront when making the reservation. If you are using dining plan you CAN link, so you won't need to prepay, BUT you still have to give a cc for cancellations, just like all other adr's. Someone correct if it's different on deluxe dining, but I dont think so. i just did mine, and without the link, I would have had to pay $300 just to make the reservation, but once linked, just had to give cc like all other adr's with no current charge.

With an appropriate plan, the prepayment on CRT goes to a full price CC guarantee.

To do this, simply log into the Disney website (click "Update Profile" to force a sign in), go to the Dining Reservations thingy ("Where to Eat" up top), click the little tiny link under the restaurant entry that says "Use my Dining Plan to book pre-paid reservation", enter in your information, look for the checkmark that states that your dining plan is accepted, search for the restaurant, date, and time, click the time you want and make reservation. You'll then be prompted to enter in CC information for the hold. At some point, I THINK it should state the amount "due today", if this is anything except $0, stop and call. I did not proceed beyond entering CC information on my test run here, just in case .

Every time I tried to link, Firefox would lock up and say it couldn't make the connection and Explorer reported it couldn't link the reservations either although at least it didn't lock up completely. I finally called Disney and by the time I did someone else took the ADR I wanted.
