DLH is the ultimate really isnt it, it doesnt get any better, but i would be very happy in sl, i shall probably be doing my mad hair routine in there as well. are u going by train or plane???

Lol. I will be the woman with the lank blonde hair, trying to keep her 3 kids under control. We are in the midlands so we are flying. I am beside myself with excitement and can't stop planning. All the 'dissers' should wear something so they can be identified when out and about. I'll look out for a happy-looking blonde with curly hair!

We're in the Midlands too.
Where are you flying from?

Wear DIS green! Only problem is that although it is fairly distinctive, you do run the risk of grinning at people who just happen to like that colour but know nothing about the DIS and so think you are mad. :rolleyes1

Just to say that I am v.jealous that you will only have to pay an extra £300! We are a family of 5 (youngest is 6) and I desperately wanted to stay at the DLH for my 40th unfortunately the family room there was going to be £1300 for 2 nights :scared1: so I have had to settle for a family room at the Newport Bay which was £800 (the only other option for 5 other than 2 rooms whch is evn mre xpnsive!). It really makes me mad because my youngest always ends up in bed with DH & I so 2 double beds would be fine for us and for a family of 4 the DLH is £800 ish for the 2 nights whch is what we have to pay anyway. Particulary annoying as all the kids are staying and playing free anyway....

Anyway to get to the point if you really want to do it, go for it because once your little one gets older you are much more limited if you want to stay at one of the Disney hotels.

Birmingham International. It's only half an hour away from where we live. I don't think there's any other option that wouldn't take hours and hours!

I'll be buying something green to show my solidarity. lol I know I'll wander around grinning at people anyway, so I might aswell have a reason.

I know exactly what you mean. The only reason I'm thinking of upgrading is because the baby will be 3 the next time we can afford to go, and like you, it'll be a family room or two rooms and we just couldn't afford it. It's so difficult as a family of 5! £1300 for 2 nights is awful. The total price for us would be £1130 for 3 nights at DLH or £820 at SL (both including halfboard plus). My original budget had been a maximum of £1000 to include food. I'll probably make the decision to upgrade and when I phone the CM will tell me that its £300 per night:eek:
