Have I Missed the Boat? (Narnia Teleporters)

How are all these people getting so many Narnia Wardrobes? I have literally spent hours since this game came out trying for those elusive teleporters. My daughter said this girl in emporium announces to everyone that she had for ty pairs for trade. She asked what she wanted for a pair and then she asked my daughter to trade. She accepted and asked her how she got so many and she said it was a SECRET . She asked her what she wanted for a pair and she said inferno and then procceded to fill up the trade window with these teleporters. My daughter closed window and left the room. Have I missed something on how to win these? Are they giving cards out at the parks for them?

No they are only from the game, some people are extremely proficient at getting them. If I could stop myself from hitting F5 I would have won 4 pairs - which is too bad because my intent was to share. But as it stands I am with you I have none and have not spent the time recently to try to get them. A good time to shoot for it is during wait in line for host game.

I think that there is probably a website address that someone has shared, that directs you to a website that generates a new prize number everytime you access it. I wouldn't waste my time playing for hours on end as I'm sure the people that have many pairs have taken advantage of this cheat.

I'm not in on the secret either- dh, dd and I have played countless hours of the game trying to collect the teleporters and none for us... it is one of the few things I can do at work- so often while I'm working on paperwork I will have 5-6 windows open where I hit play and refresh over and over and over

still none here- not even some I made disappear by hitting f5 too fast = that would have to hurt lol

I know what you mean - I have given up all hope to win. I have successfully traded for these teleporters.

I just had a person tell me in the trade room, after he traded me 7 sets of Narnia Teleporters that he had cloned the code generator. Needless to say, I reported him as well. I hope they do something about it...

I think the staff should do one of the following in order to discourage cheating like this:

1. Remove all Narnia teleporters from anyone who owns one, replacing them with some other telporter so the person still has a working device.

2. Or...the other option (which may work better) would be to distribute one and only one Narnia set per person. This way, anyone who feels that they gave up something important still has what they gave it up for, and should not be worried about the trade value since they aren't trading it. And...anyone who acquired several for trading (probably under shady circumstances) will now be out of luck.

VMK does have the ability to implement this (as they did when they removed the costumes from everyone's inventory yesterday that were accidentally released) and I hope that they do.

We really need to start teaching our kids important lessons...it is truly disturbing to see what goes in right now in VMK in terms of cheating. It makes me sad.

The only problem with doing either of these is that a lot of people have traded really rare stuff to get them. If they were to take them away or give everyone one, then people will be mad because they lost their stuff...

Somebody had created generators for all the narnia items.


They made the value go down alot!! I had just bought a pair of teleporters for 2 bird hats, and then somebody comes with tons of teleporters..

Yes, a code generator. A generator to make codes.



And yes, it is cheating. You can get banned huge for it.


And maybe it is how people get rich.


Edit: But I would advise ANYONE who sees someone offering 8+ teleporters (4+ sets) to report them because chances are, they used that generator.

i Googled it. omg. It's a VIRUS. It could seriously mess up ur computer, and, well duh, get u vmk banned for 1,000,000 YEARS!!! well, maybe only 100.

I don't believe reporting someone for having alot of Narnia teleporters is a friendly thing to do. Just because they have a ton of sets doesn't mean they didn't earn them honestly. SO way to report someone for nothing!

ALSO...Just because a person may have used a code generator, it doesn't mean they did it maliciously. They may not have thought it out. So if you report them, what does that mean about you? Are you jealous because they have more than you? Are you turning in a "bad" person or a kid that may not have known better? Need I remind you that some peopl were getting codes for Everest chairs before they were supposed to be available. They did not do it on purpose, but they were traded for large sums of rare. Those people got in trouble for nothing they did wrong. Why were they in trouble?... because people turned them in that were jealous.

Maybe you should just walk away from the trade. Otherwise, if it seems like a good trade, take it. Like I said, maybe someone actually satr and played the narnia game for a loooooong time. I know a few Dissers with four or five sets who got them through trades and playing the game. So turn in your friends for being rich! WTG. Great advice!

I agree with you...I have 4 sets all of which I got through trading and not with the same person. I have plans to share the sets with my husband and mom but if somone were the turn me in because I had 4 sets that would not be fair at all as I earned them through trade!

I find it funny that someone would trade for 7 sets of Narnia teleporters then turn in the person that traded them to him.

Yes cat, exactly. I have won three sets by sheer dumb luck, and many hours of trying. I have gifted two of them away and only kept one for myself.

I don't understand the way people run more than one screen Or use a "generator" so far beyond my simple computer skills.

as nice of an idea this is to eliminate those who do cheat the system it hurts those of us who won a pair fair and square. The first time I heard about opening multiple windows and playing all at once I did it and won after 6th frame. Since then I try every now and then but haven't won again since, but I am happy to know that i was able to win them and so far if I wanted to trade they are considered fairly rare.
As far as those who cheat to get them I believe that they will eventually get what they deserve, especially if they are banned after getting stuff they ultimately won't be able to use.
Those who want to trade for these potentially cloned items should just really think hard is the trade as worth it to get a teleporter that may have been obtained against rules or that could very well have been gotten by legitimate means. If they are satisfied with the trade they should be happy because they did get them an honorable way.
