We are taking a short trip in may to WDW. Here is our schedule and let me know if there are any must see's or do's that I am missing. With all of our CM's we do not have any TS left but we are still open to paying for a meal if it is a must eat there..

May 18th- arrive at 6pm dinner 8:30pm at 1900 Park Fare (Cinderella, prince charming, fairy godmother ect)

May 19th - Magic Kingdom - Breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh, tigger, piglet and eyore
Lunch - unsure thinking maybe Cosmic Rays
Dinner - unsure - I still have a reservation for CRT but am seriously thinking of canceling..

May 20th - Epcot in the AM (only) and early Princess Storybook lunch
Spending the rest of the day at MGM
Dinner - 50's Prime Time Cafe

May 21st - Breakfast at the Contempary Resort - Chef Mickey's
Spending the day at Downtown Disney
Lunch - Rain Forrest Cafe - My DD of 5yrs has never been there
Dinner - unsure - it would need to be early if we have dinner at all
Evening - Wilderness Campground - Chip & Dale Sing A long (HAS ANYONE GONE TO THIS?? IT SOUNDS LIKE FUN FOR THE KIDS. IT STARTS AT 6:30PM WHEN C&D LITE THE CAMPFIRE, SING SONGS AND AT 9PM PLAY A CLASSICAL DISNEY MOVIE)

May 22nd - We don't leave until 3pm so I thought we might just hang out at the pool and relax..

Let me know what you think - this will be my 2nd time to WDW while the first time for both my DH and DD5.

WE went to this one year while at Fort Wilderness. My DD wanted to stay there so we booked one night before our weeklong stay at the Boardwalk Villas. Even with being on the FW property it was very difficult to find our way to the location of the campfire. THere is an internal/external bus system that we found very confusing our one night there. Maybe we weren't there long enough and it wasn't as complicated as it appeared but we didn't think it was nearly worth it considering the time it took just to get there.

The first of the Star Wars weekends will be taking place at Disney-MGM Studios May 19 - May 21. Details have not been announced yet but should be available soon.

I am assuming that your daughter must not enjoy animals much since you haven't planned on Animal Kingdom at all into your stay. You will probably only be hitting a few highlights of each park by having the long meals planned and not much time in them.

It doesn't seem like you are getting much time to do the parks. I counted you needing 7 TS credits if you do all including CRT and not counting RFC because that isn't on the DDP....you will only have 4 TS. So even if you cancel CRT, pay out of pocket for RFC...you are still short. I would probably pay out of pocket for 50's PT then because that can be done rather inexpensively or cancel something.

Your first day sounds great. Park Fare will be a fun way to kick off the vacation!

On your MK day, I would cancel CRT. Not worth 2TS credits and the time it will take up can be a lot. You are doing breakfast at CP.....that is a great place, hopefully your got an ADR before park opening so you can be done and doing rides at the slowest point of the day. Lunch at Cosmic is good...we loved Columbia Harbor House and if you go up stairs it is super quiet and relaxing. You can usually snag a great seat in the part that goes over the walkway from Fantasyland to Frontierland. Makes for a much nicer lunch experience than Cosmic Rays. I really think since you ate a big breakfast, you should skip lunch. If you are going to cancel CRT, what I would consider doing is arriving at the park at 8:30 am in time for rope drop. Ride all the rides you can before the big crowds arrive. Eat CS by no later than 11:30 and I would change CP to dinner at around 4:30-5 pm. Just how I would do it so you have maximum time for the park. CP has an excellent dinner. If you are intent on doing breakfast, then I would just plan on eating counter service for a late lunch/early dinner....I think you will be way to full for 3 big meals that day. Remember, you have a ton of CS and snack credits on the DDP and you don't want those to all go to waste!

Your Epcot day/MGM....you aren't going to get to see either of these parks really. Both are parks that require quite a bit of time. Your DD would have LOVED Animal Kingdom too. I take it you bought a hopper pass? What if you ditched the hopper part and just added a third park day so you could at least have a full day each in three of the parks? I really hope you think about adding a day to your park tickets. Eating at the food places are great, but it's the parks that are a MUST do. Your DD being 5 is a wonderful age. Instead of paying out of pocket to eat at more places just add another day. Just an idea!

Anyhow, on to your 3rd day. It looks good. RFC is okay....the campfire sounds like fun. We have never attempted it but I may in the future. I did hear that it was very confusing to get to, so make sure you allow enough time to get to it!

I think you have some great dining choices picked. Whatever you decide...Have a great trip! :wave2:

As it happens we are going there at exactly the same time :wave2: . We have two DS's, though so our schedule is very different from yours since we won't be spending time on princess activities pirate: .
I agree with everyone's comment that you are really missing something if you don't visit AK. The stores at DTD don't open till 10, so you might consider on your DTD Day going to AK in the morning (unless you really have your heart set on Chef Mickey's). There is the Camp Minnie-Mickey area at AK for character meet - they have on safari gear. Then you can head over to DTD afterwards (DTD stores are open late - so there would be no big rush). The animals at AK are most active early in the morning, so this would be a good time to get in the safari. You might also consider AK for the morning of your last day. You could go at opening for 2 or 3 hours and maybe still get a swim in before you have to leave.
At Epcot make sure you go to see Turtle Talk with Crush and Soarin'. The Flower and Garden show is on at Epcot, so there will be lots of beautiful displays. I read somewhere that there is a butterfly garden and when it first opens in the a.m. the butterflies are very active :hippie: , one might even land on you. They are attracted to bright colors. Your DD might enjoy this.
Because MGM has the Star Wars Weekend going on, be prepared for parts of MGM to be very crowded. Are you going to go to Fantasmic while you are at MGM?
Are you planning to see any of the fireworks at MGM, MK or Epcot? Maybe you might see Wishes at MK on your first night - do you know if you would be able to see it from the GF during your dinner? Both Fantasmic and Illuminations are worth seeing as well.
Have you looked into the new Bibbidy Bobbidi Boutique at the WoD in DTD for May 21? It is supposed to be great and your DD would love it! You have to make an appointment in advance so call and do this ASAP if you are interested. Here's what the disneyworld site says:
# The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique — Feel like a Disney princess in this magical salon, which is owned by the Fairy Godmother and operated by Fairy Godmothers-in-training. Consider such entrancing options as hair up-do, nail polish, make-up, and a total package including Disney princess costume and photos. Make your reservations today! Call (407) WDW-STYLE (939-7895)†. Whatever you do, have fun :sunny: .

Okay- I changed our Breakfast at Crystal Palace to 8:05am- MK does not open until 9am that day. We should be right about done with breakfast when they open.
I canceled our reservations to CRT so we will have the whole day after breakfast..

Our plans for Saturday does bother me but my daughter is a HUGE princess girl and will absolutly love the Princess Storybook lunch. I am still trying to get reservations before 11:20am but so far no luck so we have the morning at Epcot... which we were not planning on going to but since the lunch is there we will spend a couple hours there. I know that does not leave us much time at MGM but I can't see passing up a lunch with all of my DD favorite princesses...

We plan on paying for 50's Prime Time and RFC.. the rest of our TS will be used by CM's

My SIL did the PSB with her dd and said it was wonderful...well...not the food but the Princesses and that's what matter! Keep trying for an earlier time and maybe you will luck out! That's great you got an ADR for 8:05 at CP! You'll have some great photo ops infront of the Castle too without a crowd in your pictures. Since you will be short on Park time...I would suggest you make up an itinerary with a few things that you really want to do and see. TGM is great for helping with that. It will really let you maximize your time.

Another thing to think about as far as Animal Kingdom....on your last day where you said you don't leave till 3...now I don't know if you are driving or flying and if you mean the flight leaves at three or you are actually leaving the resort at 3...but maybe you could add a park day and go to AK for a few hours that morning. I found that we can usually do the things we really like to do in AK and be out by around 1-2. Just an idea!
