Have banked points that will expire, please help

I know about the rent/trade board when I am ready to proceed, but right now am looking for info. from all you pros out there. I have 8 points at BCV that are banked. They are good thru 7/05 and cannot be transferred. What are my options (besides just losing them) to offer someone that may need points?

Well, you could:

1)put them on the rent/trade board (I bet they would go)
2)give them to charity (make a wish is a GREAT place to donate them since so many kids dream about WDW)
3) plan a trip and use them.

Unless you want to rent other points besides those 8, your only real choice is to rent one night at OKW when it's only 8 points. And since there are no times left where it's only 8 points but before the points expire after Jan, that will be tough. I guess someone could transfer you a few points so you could make one might in a studio.

Thanks to all who gave such good advice. We have 350 points from this use year and have decided we can afford to take from those if someone needs to make a 1-night reservation.

Banked points cannot be transferred (but...transferred points can be banked).
