Just wondering if we should drive or fly? Our trip is planned for August, we live in Northern Alberta. Has anyone else ever drove that far??????

Never done it myself, but my wife's parents used to be snowbirds and they drove from Edmonton. They usually tried for 500 miles a day, and it took them 5 days. Serious multiple drivers could do it in 3 days? I'm sure others will be along soon with more info.

Nope.....never.....I value my sanity too much:lmao:

We are thinking of taking a summer vacation to Disneyland and driving down though:thumbsup2

No way, I would go nuts. But we have friends who did it in their van and 3 kids ages 8-15 no problems.

I've driven to Disneyland before and would do it again but not to WDW. The closest I would get to doing that would be to drive to Minneapolis to catch a cheap flight to MCO.

Makes our 22 hour drive seem easy.

Hats off to you folks out west who do drive.:thumbsup2

We'd never think of driving that far when you can get reasonably priced flights out of Edmonton for around $400/pp (seat sale prices) :confused3

Yep but this westerner lives in Southern Ontario. I would not be able to stand driving through the praries... so if you do end up driving, good luck and have fun with that. Not to mention the time...time is money and for those extra days I'm not sure its money well spent.:confused3

we've driven from the middle of BC, but we turned the trip into a road trip and planned to stop and see stuff on the way. We took different route there and back. We spent 6 days driving there, and a week driving back, with a week there. We saw lots on the way. Memphis (Elvis's house), Nashville (country music hall of fame), Daytona Beach, Vegas, Grand Canyon, Roswel (alien museum), and much more.
