Have any trick or treaters come to your door yet?

About an hour in and we've had maybe 30. I've already started giving 2 and 3 pieces of candy. I figure the big push is over and it will just be stragglers. I don't know if it's the weather (misty/drizzling) or the number of kids sick. Past years we easily had 80 - 100 kids.

First one around 6:20. We were out and about for a bit so missed a few(left candy on the step) Now DS and I are home. After 3 houses he wanted to go home. He is happy now with his sucker and watching Treehouse kids TV.:happytv: His older sister, niece, friend went on with DH.:dance3:
My DD is 11 and a lot of her friends have been by. She will be sorry she missed them.
But, DS was delighted to hand out the candy!! I think that is his favourite part.
DD, niece and friend are themed unit- DD is Dorothy, niece is the good witch and friend is the scarecrow. They are having a hoot skipping, arms locked and singing tunes from the Wizard of Oz. Too be young again.....

7:15 here and the sun is just setting. They'll be coming soon!

Just got my first 4, teens with pillow cases. I didn't realize it was raining.

None here... our driveway is .2 mile, uphill, so any who brave the walk will get $$'s!

:sad2: my boys are not tot'ing - they're 14 and 15... although there was a little talk of it earlier... I like the candy variety!

27 so far. It's been threatening rain all afternoon, but so far is not. Our police chief and town council have asked people to turn off the lights and end trick-or-treating at 8 p.m.

This is the first time in 23 years that I've had no one trick-or-treating -- that's weird. The two "kids" who live at home are both at parties. My college student is working -- he said it was the first time he's ever not celebrated halloween.

DH and I playing on the computers, drinking mojitos and passing out candy. We'll move on to baseball and dinner. Sounds like a great evening!

We just got our first a couple minutes ago, it is almost dark so we will be getting more soon.

I've had a lot so far, but they didn't start until about 5 o'clock. I would've expected them to start earlier being Saturday and all. My town has an 8:00 curfew, so that's when my porch light will go off. I'm not opening the door after that.

They started knocking at about 6:00 here. It's 7:30 and it seems to be slowing down (probably the cold weather this year!). I planned for 150 kids and we've had about 100...I blame the neighbour's awesome haunted house. They come looking for his annual creation :scared1:

I don't know what's going on here. The weather is very nice and we haven't seen one yet. We usually start seeing them around 6:30pm. There's always a big party every year for the kids two doors down, so I don't get why we haven't had any kids at our door.

ETA: I think I figured out why we didn't have any kids... There was a GIANT bufo toad by our front door.

Not a single child. Light is on and we have the good candy, but live on the top of a huge hill and it isn't worth the hike.

the last 2 hours - and no more ToT'ers... :confused3

I thought word would get around about getting hot chocolate, fruit roll ups, and Candy!!

and wow - ding dong - go to door expecting some of the older kids (like maybe dd friends) NOPE - it was the 1 year old Mickey Mouse!! :rotfl2: back again!!

too cute! (but something tells me that baby wont be eating the stash he's collected!! too cute!)

Well I haven't had a single chipmunk or squirrel yet.. Maybe they don't like to come out in the rain..:rotfl::rotfl:
