Have any trick or treaters come to your door yet?

Of course I'm not expecting any here, but although it's warm (in the 60's), it has just started to rain pretty hard.. Hope it doesn't last long and ruin the fun for the kids over in town..

we never have trick-or-treaters, because we live in the boonies. i bought a huge bag of reese's stuff and i'll take it along so i can give it to any other trick-or-treaters we see tonight.

Not yet but our "official" hours are 3 - 7 pm. I'm not expecting a whole lot to really start until about 4 pm - 5 pm.

We've had some kids already - it's raining just a little bit but not enough to keep anyone away, hope the heavy rain holds off just a few more hours.

Our offical Trick and Treating just started.

Ours is from 5:30-9. I didn't buy any candy. DD9 decided that she would rather go to a movie than trick or treat, so we won't be home for a lot of the evening.

We had probably 20....our trick or treat was Thursday evening, though. I love to see the little tiny guys, they're always so cute!

We had rain all night until about 9:30 this am, then it stopped but the winds are been crazy at times. We got 12 kids.

The official hours here are 5:30 - 7:30. DD said she'll bring my grandson and granddaughter down about 5:00, which is in 20 minutes. The past couple of years they have been our only trick-or-treaters. We used to get a dozen or so but they've all grown up. I still buy quite a bit of candy though. Since we live out in the country, where houses are spaced far apart, I like to make up sandwich bags full of different candy. We'll probably have most (all) of it left so DH will have fun eating it up. And I'll probably give a lot to my other grands, who will be here tomorrow. They're too old for trick-or-treating, but I bet they'll take the candy anyway.

12:30? I never heard of ToT starting that early! It's going to be a very long day for you!

It's 5:00 here and we haven't had any yet, but we may not have any at all. we are tucked away in a cul de sac off the main drag, and not many venture here. I put a basket of goodie bags on the front porch and we will head out at around 6:00. If we go out late enough, I don't have to worry about my neighbors seeing me without make up.

We had a couple of knocks but we ignored the door. We have no candy in the house and don't celebrate Hallowe'en (nor do we know any of the children in the entire city ).

Four so far and ToT just started here at 5pm and it is still light outside

Batman, then a pirate, a princess and a frog...all cute costumes

My grands will be here at any time, coming over before it gets dark and they hit the street

It is 5:15 and we have had about 7. The little ones are so cute. We are new to the neighborhood so it is a nice way to meet our neighbors.

None yet but I expect them at anytime now. It just started drizzling, is it bad that I'm hoping for about a 4 hour downpour?
