Have any Platinums recently gone to Palo brunch?

Just wondering...the Castaway Club website recently got a "new look" and under the lists of benefits it specifically says that Platinums can savor an evening at Palo and enjoy a complimentary dinner. Can we no longer use the Platinum credit at brunch?

Yes you can use the Platinum benefit at Brunch. We did on our 9/3 Dream cruise.

We used our Platinum benefit at brunch on both the Sept 24 and Sept 27 Dream sailings.

I am not sure the benefits ever specifically stated you could use the platinum benefit for brunch, but you have been able to for at least several years. There was a period in time where it was dinner only.

Yep, we had Palo Brunch (Yuri was our server and he was fantastic) on the Dream on Sept 27th cruise. I honestly did not mind being served. I really think I ate less. You could have as much as you wanted but in the past I know I picked up way more stuff than I really needed.

We did use our complimentary meal for brunch on the 8/9 sailing. Only once, February of 2014 on the Wonder, were we denied using it for brunch. I believe it had to do with the Palo manager at the time because others had reported the same thing around that time on the Wonder.

I didn't mind being served, but I did miss some of the items from the buffet that they no longer have, like the scallops, caviar, artichokes, and all of those wonderful cheeses. I do hope that one day they bring the buffet display back even if it is waiter service only.
