Have any DVC resorts have movies that are in theater showing?

E will be arriving in May. malificant is supposed to be starting around that time. I was wondering if any of the Disney resorts would have a limited preview?

I do not think the resorts ever run current movies for free. AMC at DD would be playing it.

Not at the resorts, no. Disney Cruise Line frequently has first-run movies playing on their ships, even in 3D. And occasionally they will have a premier at one of the parks. But I've never heard of it happening at a resort.

I think Hollywood Studios did an advance screening of Saving Mr. Banks for DVC members. Advance screenings are usually a couple weeks before it's released so maybe you if you are arriving mid-May you'll get lucky and they'll do it again.

They also had this at Downtown Disney AMC Theater in Anaheim!

The cruises have first run movies. There's also the AMC theaters at Downtown Disney.
