Have 2 reservations for same time period and need to cancel one....

We booked a 2nd with free dining because the modify button wasn't working. I now need to cancel the reservation without the free dining. Any reason I shouldn't do it on line? I'm (irrationally) afraid it will cancel the free dining one as well! They have totally different reservation numbers, etc...any reason calling to cancel is "safer" than doing it on line?

Actually it may even be safer cancelling your selected reservation online instead of calling. An agent might cancel the wrong reservation or even both!

The cancel button never works for us. I always have to call. Just give them the reservation number.

I've had no problems cancelling the correct reservation online. As long as YOU click the correct reservation then it will cancel the correct reservation.

If you can, save yourself a phone call and cancel online. I’ve done it many times before and have found it quicker and more efficient than calling.

I agree with PP - I believe it is safer online and not calling.
