Havaianas Flip Flops - worth the price tag?

Me again! Can you tell I'm in full blown shopping mode?!

A few of my WDW outfits aren't going to really go with Fit Flops, Crocs or trainers, so I think I'll just wear some normal flip flops.

I've got a few cheapie pairs that I wear down to the pool or around town in summer etc, but I'm wondering if I should splash out on some Havaianas so I might actually be able to wear them to the parks?

Are they as comfy and hard wearing as the price would have you believe?

Look how pretty the pair I want are!!

I haven't got any but my DD has and she wears them everywhere, including round the parks.

I just googled them to see how much they are and to get a closer look. $148.00, really?? That's insane!! To me they don't look any better than some that I have seen for way less. (20.00)

Personally, I like Reef and Yellow Box for comfort for my feet & my bank account.

Oh wait.... the ones that I looked at were different. I just found the ones that you posted for 18.00. Much better, and not a bad price.

I have bought 3 pairs over the past couple of years, and having tried other flip flops (Diesel & Tommy Hilfiger) I would definatley reccomend the havaianas, there too comfy. There so good ive built a collection of them!

Also, as another poster said, Reef have some great flip flops too - more choice in styles too

As much as I'd like to, I can't get on with Havaianas. I just don't like the feeling of something between my toes. Having said that, DBF loves them- he has loads of pairs!

I bought this pair of Havaianas for Florida last year and they killed my feet! I wanted a pair like that so they wouldn't fall off on rides etc., granted once I'd wore them more they're fine.

HOWEVER, I do LOVE my flip flops from Old Navy that generally cost only a few $$'s! Everytime I go to the US I end up coming home with another few pairs!

Torsie, Schuh have that pair on sale, half price at £9.95 here. However only size 2/3 left but you might get lucky if you have a Schuh near you?

I have a pair but can't really wear them, I got a blister between my toes. I don't really like wearing flip flops though.
