I will be in DL from Sept. 10-15 with my family. I checked on the DL web site and on the refurb schedule it lists the HM as closed for the Holiday Install on the 12th. Prior to that it says that the information on refurb is not available. Does anyone know if the HM will be open on Sept. 10 or 11? We would love to ride this as many times as possible before it closes if there is any way.

Don't know for sure, but everything I have heard puts the HMH closing the day after Labor Day, Sept 6. Sorry.

That's what I thought, too. I had a burst of hope when I checked the DL site. I'll just keep checking and keep my fingers crossed. The nice thing about DL is that even if what you think is your favorite ride is closed while you are there, you always find one or two other rides that become your instant favorites.

Glynis, we are there the same time you are! I had also seen it going down day after Labor Day . I know we were there this exact same time frame last year and it was closed. On the bright side, it looks like everything else is open, including Matterhorn which was closed for our September visit last year.

How fun to know another DIS'er is going to be there at the same time. You'll know us if you see us. We'll be a group of 20 with lots of small children. We are planning on making matching T-shirts for all the children. It's so exciting to be going again. We make it a big reunion for all my siblings and their families every other year, so it's a lot of fun! Can't wait. Wave if you see us
