Haunted Mansion/Master Gracey/Friday 13th pin saga - update post #9

Was wondering if anyone made it to the MK/Haunted Mansion LE pin release. I would dearly love to trade for it. My DH saw a preview pin at DTD Pin Traders during our Spring Break & really likes it, I'm hoping to make a trade & get one in time for our Anniversary(later this month) or his birthday(next month).

You're probably right about that. MY DH just called me, said he spoke to a fellow collector who was there & that ALL the pins are now gone property-wide. This guy's wife was in line at 9:15 this morning & all the pins were gone before she got up to the front of the line.
Maybe I should go take a look over at The Bay to see if any have shown up already...

Well, did anyone make it there? Any "Reports" of what it was like (lines, where the pins were available, etc.)?

I was lucky enough to talk DH into taking a vacation day from work. And he likes the chase. I think it just a pain in the wazoo.
He was able to buy all I wanted, and a few extras for friends who hit me up for pre-trades.
He went to the MK and bought them.
The jumbo is very cool and appears to have sold out fast, judging by what others have posted on Dizpins.
I bought the framed set, rather than individual pins that were included in the frame. I figured for a little more I have a nice framed set with HM artwork. The frame is very nice too. Not just a plain black frame.

And we topped the day off with a Grand stay at the Grand FL.
What a day to remember!!

DH is down at Hard Rock Cafe now buying his must have pins!

Oh -- Friday evening we were in MK. I did not buy any more of the 04/13 pins. We saw the framed and box sets were still available.
And Saturday late morning we saw the same at Epcot pin central. They even had a few Donald 04/13 remaining, that MK did not have. (I did not buy any more again though.)

If anybody here ended up with an extra "Master Gracey/Stretching Portraits" Haunted Mansion Friday 13th 2007 Jumbo pin(LE 750), I would love to try to trade for it.

Update: Well, this has turned into a big almost-problem. Since my PinPics trade offers have gotten NO bites, I have been scouring eBay...*sigh*. Was going to actually buy a BUY IT NOW auction of this pin, but I asked the seller a question, he dodn't get back to me, and someone else scooped it up. Now DH is....well...not too happy kwim? He thought we had bought it, didn't realize I was waiting for a seller reply...

This pin just seems to have caught DH"s eye. Our Anniversary is coming up later this month & his birthday is next month, so I was hoping to get it for him as something sepcial. Oh WELL...off to take another look at PinPics and to sit on all the auctions I can find at eBay.
