Haunted Mansion is now closed for the Halloween overlay?

As I watched one of Fresh Baked's latest videos this morning, David mentioned that the HM would go down on Monday for the Halloween overlay. However, according to the app (which no longer crashes on me since I updated my iPhone OS), it's closed as of today (for the refurb). Can anyone confirm or refute? I'll be at the park tomorrow and hoped to catch HM once more before the Halloween overlay.

Incidentally, I almost always visit DL on Sunday but I'll go tomorrow instead, in view of the Choc Walk on Sunday... and the park's accompanying 10:00 open time >:-(.

It was supposed to go down last weekend. My friend is there now and came in a day early to catch it.

It went down for the change over on Monday (August 20) and will reopen on September 7. For future reference it almost always goes down 3 Monday’s prior to the start of Halloween time for the change over.

I think when they filmed the video they did it the weekend of 8/18 so when they said it would go down on Monday, they were talking about 8/20.

I'll be there tomorrow as well, kind of disappointed to miss out on Haunted Mansion since it's always a quick return with Maxpass. I've been improving my scores on Buzz but doubt i'll make the board if you're there

Yes, of course. Makes sense. I guess I presumed it was filmed on Weds. In a world of suffering and injustice, my not being able to ride Haunted Mansion for a few days ranks pretty low on the atrocities scale ;-).
