Haunted Mansion Holiday Removal = Rehab/closing?

I see that the Haunted Mansion's Holiday removal will be occurring during my visit to Disneyland/DCA (Feb 3-5). Now this appears under rehabs and closings but I wasn't sure if it really means it closed or if it's actually just having its holiday decor removed whilst still running.

Any insight would be grand. Thanks!

Sorry i realized i accidentally put this in the WDW area instead of Disneyland.

i don't know about disneyland but the one and Magic Kingdom is in desperate need of some fixing up. the sound system is terrible and not all the effects in the graveyard are working properly. and today when i went on it the aging painting in the first room was nothing but a black screen.

The Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland in California is an entire ride make-over to Nightmare Before Christmas. It is quite the process. It does require the entire ride to be shut down to install and unistall the show elements. Unfortunatley that does mean that the ride itself will be completely closed during your trip.

I was lucky enough to see this as well as IASW and both have to be closed down to take all of the decorations down. I do have to say...I will never look at WDW HM and IASW and think wow again. You have not seen anything until you have seen DL rides! :mickeyjum
