Haunted Mansion Changes

On October 3rd,the decorated haunted mansion is up (or is it up already?). It Changes To Nightmare Before Christmas things,just to let you know

I was at Disneyland on Thursday and we were told it was opening the next day, Sept. 30th. Big bummer, my cousin had never seen it! oh well...

We just rode it for the first time today=-all the Nightmare Before Christmas changes are up and it is SPECTACULAR!!! So great! Can't wait to do it again before January

We rode it on friday with a friend and her two boys. They had never seen the change over before. We all loved it. My nephew's fave character is Jack. So he was really excited when I told him they were doing the change over. I haven't had a chance to call him yet to let him know how great it looks now that Jack moved in.

yeah i just went yesterday ( Sunday) and it was pretty packed with people....this was my 1st time on it with the NBC decorations..i had seen some footage of the ride online and it was better when i wast there...i beleive it was opened the 30th so yeah it was fun : - )

Can someone please give me a general discription of the changes, or better yet somewhere where I can see pictures?

My 5 year old daughter is a bit of a wimp and we just watched Nightmare Before Christmas to get her excited about this ride. I'm worried she'll make herself scared. If I could let her see some pictures before hand it might help.

We had her watch the special extra's on PTC movie where it shows the ride and talks about them making it and it seemed to help (we'll find out when we ride I guess!).

NBC Haunted Mansion is up and it's just a little different this year...but still very fun and different. (you'd think it'd grow old being an AP, but nope, not yet)

It's got some new goodies this year? Very cool! DH and I have been going every year... maybe I can talk him into a day this weekend taking the track up there. Yeah!

Hi All,
We were there on Friday, the day it opened, and it was great. I have been through it in the past, and am a big fan of Tim Burton and the movie, so I really enjoyed it. We were told by more than one cast member that this is the last year for the change. If you have not been, and you are able DO NOT MISS IT!!!!! The outside alone is spectacular. I highly recomend the Fast Pass. The line never went down. ENJOY!

I cannot WAIT to see the Haunted Mansion like this! Out of 30ish trips to DL, I've never been at holidaytime... this is going to be a real treat!
