OK, who else here likes to wear hats to WDW parks? I'm not talking about your normal baseball hats, I mean character or silly hats?
DH and I love to wear some kind of hat in the parks. Last year we wore our wedding ears the whole time (honeymoon). This year we are wearing them again on our anniversary, but we also bought some Saints christmas hats to wear on gameday and for MVMCP. :thumbsup2
I don't know what we'll wear the remainder of the time, but if we find a character hat we really like, we'll buy them and sport them around the parks. It's so much fun and we both look forward to it! Silly....

I always wear a floppy hat with a brim all around the edges because it keeps the sun out of my eyes in good weather, and the rain off my glasses in rainy weather. And it has the added advantage of having the FSU Seminole logo in front. And I keep another floppy hat (this one with a target printed on the top for birds), as a backup in case the first one gets soaks on the previous day. LOL

Enjoy.

LAst year we all wore special hats! We went the week after thanksgiving. My DH wore the sorceerer Mickey hat, I had the golden sequined Minnie Ears, my mom wore the Christmas Minnie ears, DD13 had a tink santa hat and DS10 wore a pluto hat. I love our pictures! Especially the ones for MVMCP with all of us together with our hats. It was so much fun and we will probably do it again with different hats when we go in January! :cool1:

We had a blast wearing hats in August for my cousin's 50th surpise birthday trip. She was the least likely to wear a hat, and the first to get her sparkly 50th golden ears. We wore them everywhere, including on the plane home.

I like seeing people in hats (my daughter wore the pirate hat with mouse ears and an earing in it). But please take into account when you are at a show if you have a huge hat on kids (maybe adults too) behind you can't see over it. During Fest. of the Lion King we had someone with a huge hat on in front of us and we had to reposition my daughter around him.

Yes! Good point in there! I couldn't agree more mamamary! I always remove my hat whenever I take a seat for any show. It's just the polite thing to do, no matter what kind of hat it is.

Enjoy.

I loved wearing my Minnie Mouse Christmas ears hairband last Christmas while walking around DTD. I wore it until the hairband was starting to give me a headache!

I can honestly say that I love WDW more than anyone in my family, but when it comes to wearing goofy hats, my dh is more daring than I.....

me me me me me! i wanta headband this time! i love my hats that i have. but this time I want a headband. I wish i knew what was available (what they look like!) and the park prices for them!

can't wait!

:yay: Are there any hats that are geared toward graduates. I am going in December, about 2 weeks after finishing my BS degree. My wife thinks that I need to wear something like that. I gave in and said I would wear one if we could find one. she will probably be wearing her goofy hat. :woohoo:

hugo, they do make a Mickey ears grad cap, but you typically only see it available in the spring. You may have some luck at World of Disney at Downtown Disney or on ebay. Congrats on your degree!

We bought the bride and groom ears on our honeymoon last year. My DW wore hers the entire first day, but I couldn't make it more than an hour. My head was way too big for the ears, and it really hurt after 20 minutes. So I switched back to my Tilley hat, and I was happy again.

DHs Top hat ears were too small for him TOO! :confused3
Seems like they would make them a bit bigger for men's sizes.

I wish there was a way to see what kind of hats they have too. I want to buy another this December, but I don't know what I want. I wonder if there will be a special YOMD hat. That would be something I would want to buy.
