Hats, Autograph Books, Badges

Dh and I are taking 2 little cousins (boy 5, girl 6) to WDW in August. The littles have never been before, and we are thrilled to get to introduce them to the magic.

We are driving to Florida from Tennessee. I want to buy the disney autograph books and trace charcter pictures onto the pages. They can color the pictures on the way there, and then have the characters sign next to their picture. I looked at disneystore online, but didn't see the books. Does anyone know where I can find them, or how much they are?

I looked at Gifts of a Lifetime, and they have neat stuff, but they seem pricey. I've never bought books or hats at WDW before, but I thought they were less than GoL lists them.

Also, I'd like to get the mouse-ear hats to give them right before we get to WDW. Where? How much?

Or maybe Guest of Honor Badges?

GoL is pricey, there is an upcharge on everything--you can call WDW directly and order from them and only have to pay the shipping charge. I'm not sure of the price for each item, but they can ship Guest of Honor badges, autograph books, hats, etc. I'm pretty sure you'd save a little bit doing it this way. I used GoL and paid the upcharge and delivery fees, and in retrospect it really was not worth it. With a little planning I could have done the same thing Very much less expensively. Don't get me wrong they do a great job, you just REALLY pay for that!

One thing I did when I needed GOH badges was put out a plea here on the DIS and another member picked them up for me and mailed them. I am sure someone would be happy to do this for you as well.
