Hate not being in the "bubble"

We've stayed both on and off site for different reasons each trip. If I were going to split a stay, I'd do offsite first--we normally do our commando open-to-close touring at the front of a trip. Then once i moved to AKL, I'd feel more motivated to just hit favorites again in the parks and spend more time enjoying the amazing resort.

I have stayed offsite for numerous trips - however that said if I want an onsite "in the bubble" trip I do in the bubble. So if that is what you want, I say "do it" - book a value or rent more points. I guess I like either on property or off property. For off property stays I like the freedom of having my own car, a more for my money accommodation and exploring beyond Disney. For an on property stay I like the convenience, not driving, just enjoying the Magic.

Do both and sometimes both in one trip ... at first I hated out of the bubble, but now we find lots to do outside particularly eating at a much lower price.

Questions:

- What do you mean by "Extended stay"? Is that your hotel or just a reference to offsite ... sometimes you get what you pay for so where exactly are you staying?

- Will you have a car?

Extended stay is the name of the hotel. it is like La Quinta, I personally love staying there when I travel. We always stay at the one right across the street from Disney Land.

I won't have a Car but i have tons of Uber referral credits to use. the hotel is only 2 miles away from Disney, shouldn't cost more than $10 each way.

Normally I'd pay the extra money to stay onsite (love the bubble!), but since you're already at AKL for 5 days, I think it's okay to stay offsite and save money to spend when you're onsite The bigger questions is whether you want to drive to/from the parks or have the Disney buses that you'd get staying onsite.

We will Uber our way until we get to AKL. once there, we will use Disney transportation. I don't mind the wait.
