On our way to Disney we had a tire blow out in SC. (We now live in SC and love it) Within minutes of this, a state trooper came along to help. After we got the spare on he suggested we head to his hometown one exit away. When we arrived we went to the nearest gas station and asked about a tire shop. We were given directions to a road where there were a "couple" of places. As we drove we started to notice that every business on the street was a tire place. So we pulled into one and he couldn't do the work but pointed us to another place.
Lot's of other weird things occured but I won't elaborate.
So we wondered was this a tourist trap in every sense of the word. Has this happen to other traverlers? I mean there were like 20 tire places all side by side. And they were like working with each other.
