Has there been any word on the condition of the young lady who was injured at WDW

We happened to be at the Celebration E. R when the young lady who was injured on the Tower of Terror was brought in with her Mother. It was horrible and so sad. I got to see her Mom for a few minutes and it was heart wrenching. I have not heard any information since....has there been any reports in the UK (I am pretty sure she lived in England) about her condition? I think and wonder about her and her family. Thank you.

I believe the OP is referring to the incident that happened a couple of years ago about the girl from the UK, who had a brain hemmorage I think, just after riding TOT. I remember the OP posting a thread about it last year and Im sure its this one

If it is the same person, Im sorry I havent heard anymore on this since it happened, but very nice of you to still be thinking of her and lets hope she is recovering well

Yes, that was me. I just wonder if she recovered and how she is doing. I wonder how her Mom is. I know as a Mom it was so hard to see.......if anyone hears anything please let me know. Thanks.

I read about her recently on another website. There was a link to a story in her local newspaper but I can't find it. She is still receiving treatment and I'm sure it said she was starting to take steps again but I'm not 100%.

Her name is Leanne Deacon and she is from Leicestershire. I was in MGM the day she took ill.

I've searched through all my posts on the other website and found the thread about Leanne. It was posted in August 07. The story was in the Leicestershire Mercury, the link isn't working or I would have posted it here. Going by the replies in the thread her aim is to be walking by Christmas.
