the Little Mermaid ride from CA Adventure? Of all the trips I've taken there since the ride first opened (don't remember what year) 99% of the time the ride is a walk on. ONE time during my trip earlier this week there was I believe a 20 minute wait, but that seems very rare. I personally love this ride, but I think Disney would rather a ride with more traffic be in it's place. What do you Disers think?

I have seen Little Mermaid with some astonishing wait times for what it is - usually peak afternoon when I assume most people with kids are looking to get out of the sun. Like, the line wrapping all the way back along the building and behind it. Yes, by the evening it's usually a walk-on, but so are a lot of the little kid rides.

This is probably my least favorite ride...it's so contrived and the ending dated, and the eyes on the animatronics fall deep into uncanny valley. I will not shed a tear if this gets axed. It's not as bad as Superstar Limo, but something about it irks me.

I like the ride. I personally will never understand the popularity of Midway Mania and the long waits (different strokes I guess). I love Toy Story, but I'm not a fan of these shooting at targets rides. Yawn.

Don't love the ride, but I hope not. Disney parks need a mix of these low-key, lower wait rides to help with a change of pace and a break from the long lines. This one is enjoyable enough to keep, and I am sure many little ones love it. There isn't enough for them already in DCA.

I have actually seen some really long lines in recent years, like the poster above. Sometimes they wrap around the side of the building.

100% agree. I can play video games at home. Moving me from TV screen to TV screen doesn't add anything to the experience either.
