Has Starring Rolls changed?

We liked it so much, we had breakfast there 2 days in a row during our trip. We used 1 snack each to get croissants and cinnamon rolls. They were so good!!

Where is Starring Rolls exactly....I was thinking of using snack credits for pastries/cakes/rolls for breakfast...

Thanks.

It is right on the corner by Brown Derby. They have tables outside only.
I agree the chocolate chips cookies are the best. We always make it a "must do" lunch stop. I think my DH looks forward to the cookies more than the sandwiches!

Starring Rolls used to offer handmade specialty chocolates & truffles. Sigh.

The smoked salmon/pastrami salmon with bagel, cream cheese, and fixins is still a really good deal, though!

They aren't teh same...but the villain's store has some chocolates and stuff.

You can get the chocolate flourless cake there too.

Has anyone found out if you can get the cobb salad there?

Just get there early. By mid-afternoon, most of the pastries were gone when I stopped in last week.

No, they sure aren't!

And that reminds me. I've got to see my doctor about that chemical they sprayed on me last time I was walking by there. I know the other chemical was supposed to neutralize the first one, but you can't be too careful!

Considering that one of them drinks the stuff, I don't know if I'd worry about it.

a cobb salad to go from there would be heaven!!! (with a slice of that grapefruit cake as well) :cloud9:

Bumping to see if anyone knows about the cobb salad.... anyone????

we were there the first week of September. They do take the DDP (you can use a snack credit to get a pastry or a drink there, or use counter service for a very large sandwich/chips/drink/dessert. The sandwiches are very fresh and very good...they only have them available for a couple of hours (starting at around 11:30 a.m.) The ones on offer then were very large...there was a turkey, a roast beef & and a veggie version. In May 2008,people in our group tried all 3, :thumbsup2 very good. There were several different varieties of bagged chips, and lots of dessert choices. Can't help you on the salad question for sure, but I never noticed any salads in there at all...a basket of fresh fruit choices like bananas and apples, but no salads.

The Cobb Salad rumor has been around for quite some time because I had heard it before we went this past January.

Sorry to say it's just a rumor so, no, at least when I inquired it was not available. Wouldn't it be great if it were though? Maybe if there's enough interest............. :woohoo:

That's not good. We were planning on going here right before fantasmic so we could have some snacks before our late dinner.
