Has Someone Been to HRH Lately?

We went to the HRH two years ago in August and are going back this August. It was really nice then. Has anyone been there recently? If so, are they keeping it? Will it be as nice as I remember? Thanks, Packy.

We were there the beginning of June for our first visit and loved it. It was so much fun. We had just spent 3 nights at the Grand Floridian and thought the HRH was far superior. The rooms were bigger and the service was great. My husband and two daughters and myself cannot wait to go back!

We were there during the last week of June. It couldn't have been nicer or cleaner. We used the pool everyday and walked on on all of the trails. I was a little curious if the fact that they allow pets would be a factor. I saw maybe two dogs the whole time. We were in a smoking room on the first floor. We got our pictures back and everyone that sees them comments on how nice the rooms and hotel in general looks. Go and have a GREAT time!

We spent one night at the end of our trip June 26-27. Hotel is beautiful, staff is attentive, rooms great, pool fun and FOLP is absolutely awesome. Would return in a heartbeat.

Same here! We spent 3 nights the first part of June of this year. Absolutely the best! Would stay there again!

We were there 7/1-7/5 and it was very clean. The only thing bad I saw was on the 4th floor, first hall the right when you come from the elevators, there was a lot of sheet rock damage on the walls - probably from the rolling carts that housekeeping uses, but they were fixing those while we were there.

One thing that I thought brought down the look of the hotel is all of the housekeeping carts in the halls. Our room was almost at the end of the halls and we would probably pass close to 10 carts coming and going from our room. And it was an all day long thing until about 4 in the afternoon. Very distracting to the whole look of the hotel. Other than that I thought the hotel was very clean, as was the pool area.
