Has Friskies done something to their cat food?

For years Friskies had always been my cat's favorite cat food but lately every time my cat eats Friskies it has been starting to make him gag and I am wondering if Friskies cat food has put different ingredients in it? Because when my cat eats Friskies after eating it he will gag and act weird and I seem to think that Purina did a recall of Friskies cat food sometime ago? Because I can't figure out why Friskies cat food does this to my cat but when he eats his regular cat food which is Fancy Feast Fancy Feast never causes my cat gagging episodes and so i'm curious if anyone on here that feeds their cats Friskies cat food has noticed this every time?

I haven't noticed anything with our barn cats, but they seem to eat anything...I seem to recall you asking for opinions/assistance with a cat that had some health - related issues. Might this be something along the same line, and were you ever able to take your cat to the vet? Perhaps the cat has a physical issue that might be better addressed by a medial professional?

One of our cats has always had tummy trouble. She would gag until she got sick.
We switch to gentle. She goes so long with no issues and all of a sudden it would start up again.
Vet said she’s not losing wait and seems fine.
But we always wonder too if they change something.
Unrelated but one time I found a little something extra. At first I thought it was a toy in the bag. But no it was a flattened mouse. That was nasty

I also seem to think Friskies has added hairball remedies to their ingredients because ever since my cat eats Friskies cat food he starts gagging and feels weird but after a while he will be normal then the gagging starts again but Mom and I haven't found a single furball on my cat. We also feed him 9 Lives cat food and my cat never has a problem eating it. But Friskies gives my cat gagging episodes for no reason
